Miss Earth 2014: Miss England Gabriella Gatehouse
What is your environmental advocacy and why did you choose this?
One of my advocacies is to change the way the nation shops. I believe it is very important to be aware of what we can do to prevent damaging the environment. With my passion for fashion, I would like to encourage everyone to be fashion-conscious! I have worked closely with My Green Bag, which is a company that uses organic materials to create handbags and rucksacks that are ahead of the trend and environmentally friendly. I would like to help encourage people to use eco-friendly bags, rather than the usual plastic that we use in the market.
What tip can you share to promote this year's theme, Eco Tourism?
Marine life is worth more alive when valued for eco-tourism, than when fished and killed.
