Miss Earth 2014: Miss Italy Beatrice Valente
What is your environmental advocacy and why did you choose this?
My advocacy is to do my best in sharing how to love nature and stop pollution. I will do so by addressing people through volunteer activities involving them. Reflection is important because it makes us aware of what we’re forgetting.
We must love Mother Earth and all the wonderful nature that surrounds us because it is our huge house and we must be safe inside it. We should take care and share love with nature and one another, not only for us but for the future generations. Through small gestures we could do great things and light up Mother Earth’s heart.
What tip can you share to promote this year's theme, Eco Tourism?
We can only change things if we make people aware of the current situation of our environment.
