Miss Earth 2014: Miss Kenya Lydiah Manani
What is your environmental advocacy and why did you choose this?
My environment advocacy is to plant many trees. I choose this for the simple reason of deforestation in my country. Currently, our forest cover has dropped about 50% due to deforestation. My aim is to plant a million trees during my reign and thereafter continue planting and educating people on the need to conserve the environment.
What tip can you share to promote this year's theme, Eco Tourism?
I will promote this year’s theme through my social media, print media, and talking about it in the gatherings that I attend.
