Miss Earth 2014: Miss Malaysia Renee Tan
What is your environmental advocacy and why did you choose this?
Earth is our home, our only home, and our only hope to exist. Don’t let its beauty go to waste. After all, we only have one planet. We shall keep it clean, green, and beautiful! We shall be the protector of our planet. We shall save the Earth if we’re united as one.
My advocacy is to educate the kids and teens on the things they can do, as well as to get them involved in activities to help save the environment. Like the saying goes, “Education is the most important weapon which we can use to change the world.”
What tip can you share to promote this year's theme, Eco Tourism?
Eco tourism promotion is about educating visitors on ways to develop harmony with environment each time they visit a country.
