Miss Earth 2014: Miss Namibia Paulina Malulu

What is your environmental advocacy and why did you choose this?

I advocate for the government and businesses to look into renewable energy systems to attract tourists from first-world countries who are at the forefront of environmental conservation.

Namibia is fortunate because our natural resources can still meet the need of its stable population. Renewable energy systems would encourage our people to become stewards of their own resources, thus making resources sustainable for the next generation.

Being a young entrepreneur, I know that there is no business that would not want to benefit from tax-free incentives. This will also encourage moving away from the usual coal-powered power stations or nuclear stations.

What tip can you share to promote this year's theme, Eco Tourism?

Let us advocate for a world where mankind and nature exist harmoniously.
