Miss Earth 2014: Miss Tonga Sicilia Makisi

What is your environmental advocacy and why did you choose this?

My environmental advocacy is to promote cleaner waters. I want to help promote better waters for our marine life, provide clean drinking water for our people, and give simple, yet effective solutions that ultimately benefit our Earth.

I chose water as my environmental advocacy because I believe water is life. It is such a valuable source of life that if we don’t look after it, more serious issues could happen. Prevention is key.

What tip can you share to promote this year's theme, Eco Tourism?

The key to living is being one with nature. With all elements in balance, we restore beauty to the Earth.
