19 years old, from Dumaguete

Lorraine is Filipino-British-Chinese. She loves outdoor activities. The beach is her happy place. Her ambition in life is to become a pilot, but is too expensive; so right now she is taking up Information Technology at Silliman University in Dumaguete. Lorraine is the model-host of a YouTube channel called The Belladonna Channel.

When she was Miss Dumaguete 2013, Lorraine focused on an orphanage called Sto. Niño Orphanage in Dumaguete. Her advocacy is to give orphanage children happiness. If ever she will be crowned Miss World Philippines, she has a whole year of doing great things for the children in the orphanage.

Lorraine believes she will be the next Miss World Philippines because she believes that she can do it — she can be a good ambassadress for a lot girls and boys who will look up to her.

The leader of the main French business federation, Patrick Martin, said on Wednesday he had got it wrong on U.S. President Donald Trump, saying French firms who applauded pro-business policies in January did not imagine he would go ahead with tariffs. Trump stunned business leaders on both sides of the Atlantic when he unveiled a range of sweeping new tariffs on dozens of U.S. trading partners on what he called "Liberation Day", causing a stock market meltdown across the globe. Many French business leaders had initially feted Trump's return to power, with LVMH CEO Bernard Arnault, who attended his inauguration, talking about a "wind of optimism" in the U.S. and shipping giant CMA CGM announcing a massive investment there.
