Ruffa is a full-time model and is her family's breadwinner. She once joined the Miss Makati pageant. Ruffa also loves to play volleyball and — when it comes to music — the guitar.

Her advocacy is to continue supporting her family. She also wants to finish her studies and find a good and stable job.

Ruffa admits that she is really nervous about joining Miss World Philippines, but she knows she deserves the crown because she is independent and she is strong enough to carry the title.
