Popstar Princess Sarah Geronimo notches another victory in her showbiz career as she is chosen by Disney to sing “The Glow,” the theme song of their “Princess” franchise.

“The Glow,” which was made to introduce Rapunzel from the animated movie “Tangled” in Disney’s Princess lineup in 2011, was originally sung by Shannon Saunders.

“I’ll be singing my own version of the song ‘The Glow.’ Don’t miss the premiere of the music video, only on Disney Channel,” Sarah said in a video aired on Disney Channel.

The said music video will premiere on December 6. Because of the news, “Sarah G The New Disney Princess” trended worldwide on Twitter.

Sarah is a new addition to list of Filipino celebrities tapped by Disney. Broadway singer and “The Voice of the Philippines” coach Lea Salonga sung “Reflection” from “Mulan” and “A Whole New World” from “Aladdin.”

Kim Chiu also reportedly portrayed the role of Mulan for Disney’s 2015 calendar.
